Young Transatlantic Innovation Leaders Initiative (YTILI) Fellowship

The U.S. Embassy Yerevan requests applications for the next generation of Young Transatlantic Innovation Leaders Initiative YTILI Fellows.

The Young Transatlantic Innovation Leaders Initiative (YTILI) Fellowship is a flagship young European leaders program of the U.S. Department of State that is supported in its im-plementation by the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF). YTILI fellows are young entrepreneurs between the ages of 24-35 with either commercial or social ventures that they are seeking to scale in their home countries. The YTILI experience is a professional development opportunity for innovators to become change makers by developing the skills to be successful entrepreneurs. YTILI Fellows are given access to a network of professionals, mentors, and resources aligned to support the growth of their venture during the fellowship experience. By exploring entrepreneur-ship in the transatlantic context, YTILI fellows will also develop the expertise to better engage in policy conversations in their home countries, across Europe, and in the transatlantic sphere.

2019 Study of the U.S. Institute for Student Leaders on Civic Engagement

The United States Embassy in Armenia is pleased to announce a summer 2019 Study of the U.S. Institute for Student Leaders on Civic Engagement. The program will take place during the June to August timeframe in 2019.

Study of the U.S. Institutes (SUSIs) for Student Leaders are intensive short-term academic programs whose purpose is to provide groups of undergraduate student leaders with a deeper understanding of the United States while simultaneously enhancing their leadership skills. The five-week institutes will consist of a balanced series of seminar discussions, readings, group presentations, and lectures. The coursework and classroom activities will be complemented by educational travel, site visits, leadership activities, and volunteer opportunities within the local community. Each institute will have 20 participants and will include a four-week academic residency component and a one-week integrated study tour to another region of the United States. During the academic residency, participants will also have the opportunity to engage in educational and cultural activities outside of the classroom. The program will feature students from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia and Turkey.

2019 Summer Study of the U.S. Institutes for Secondary Educators

The United States Embassy in Armenia is pleased to announce the Study of the United States Institutes for Secondary Educators 2019. The Study of the U.S. Institutes (SUSI) for Secondary Educators are intensive post-graduate level academic programs with integrated study tours whose purpose is to provide foreign secondary school educators and administrators the opportunity to deepen their understanding of U.S. society, culture, values, and institutions. The ultimate goal of the institutes is to strengthen curricula and to enhance the quality of teaching about the United States in secondary schools and other academic institutions abroad. The program will take place over the course of five weeks beginning in early June 2019.

The United States Embassy in Armenia is pleased to announce the Study of the United States Institutes Summer 2019. The program will take place at various colleges, universities, and academic institutions throughout the United States over the course of six weeks beginning in or after June 2019. Each institute includes a four-week academic residency component and up to two weeks of an integrated study tour to another region of the United States. Study of the U.S. Institutes for Scholars (SUSIs) are intensive post-graduate level academic programs with integrated study tours whose purpose is to provide foreign university faculty and other scholars the opportunity to deepen their understanding of U.S. society, culture, values, and institutions.
