Storytelling through Editing in Documentary Films

The U.S. Embassy in Armenia announces a Call for Applications for a five-day documentary film editing workshop, conducted by world-renowned U.S. film expert and editor Doug Blush, which will take place in Yerevan on February 13 - 17, 2017. Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Anniversary Inclusive Education Fellowship Program

The ADA Anniversary Fellowship Program in Inclusive Education will enable 28 participants from Armenia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and India to participate in a 6-week intensive fellowship program at a wide variety of organizations in Minnesota or Arizona that support the educational inclusion of children with disabilities. The program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, is administered by the University of Minnesota and Arizona State University in collaboration with international partners including Armenian State Pedagogical University in Armenia, Nazarbayev University & Bilim Central Asia Education Center in Kazakhstan; National Precarpathian University and the Odesa Development Fund in Ukraine; and the Tata Institute of Social Sciences in India.

Demomcracy Commission Small Grants

The U.S. Embassy will be holding informative presentations for local NGOs and media representatives to talk about the Democracy Commission Small Grants Program Competition for fiscal year 2017. The program supports initiatives that help in the development of democracy, respect for human rights, and civic education in Armenia. All applications must be written in English and should be delivered to US Embassy (1 American Avenue, Yerevan) or e-mailed to grants@usa.am by January 23, 2017, 18:00 PM.
